According to www.newyorkrangers.com, Brendan Shanahan has agreed to a deal with the New York Rangers that will keep him on the roster until the end of the 07-08 season.

Great news that this is officially done. Reports are similar to the NY Post report this morning that the deal is worth $2.5 million in base salary, and could grow to $4 million with incentives. Slats still has some work to do, but so far, so good.
